For the burgers:

  1. Add your peeled and deveined shrimp to a food processor and process until the ingredients form a paste.  Transfer the shrimp paste to a large heavy bottom bowl, then add the breadcrumbs, lemon juice, salt, garlic powder, pepper, green onions, and egg.  Mix until combined with your hands.  Divide the mixture into 5 patties.  Place the patties on a sheet pan lined with parchment paper and refrigerate for 30 minutes.

After 30 minutes, heat up a griddle to medium-high heat and drizzle light olive oil to coat.  Fry the burgers until brown and firm on both sides.  Toast the buns on the oiled griddle after.

To assemble the burger, top the bottom bun with a shrimp patty, then top the shrimp patty with some of the slaw.  Top the slaw with the top bun and it's time to eat!

For the slaw:

  1. Cut a green cabbage in half, then cut that half in half.  Then slice a quarter of the green cabbage into thin strips.  Add to a large bowl.  Do the same with the red cabbage.  Chop up two green onions and add to the bowl.  Add your mayo, red wine vinegar, sriracha, salt, and pepper and mix until combined.  Cover and refrigerate for 30 minutes, or while you fry the burgers and toast the buns.
