Salmon Cakes with Lemon Garlic Aioli

Description

This salmon cake appetizer with lemon garlic aioli is easy to make and incredibly delicious! Crispy on the outside, soft and fluffy on the inside and when dipped in the lemon garlic aioli... it's a flavor explosion!

For the Salmon Cakes

  1. Add all Salmon Cake ingredients except for the light olive oil to a large bowl and mix thoroughly to combine.

  2. Heat a shallow layer of light olive oil in a heavy bottom pan to 350 degrees F.

  3. Using a small ice cream scoop, scoop a portion of the salmon cake mixture into your hand and form into a small patty.  Set the patty down on a sheet pan in preparation for frying.  Do this until you have used all of the salmon mixture.

  4. Once the oil is heated to 350 degrees F, fry the formed salmon cakes for a few minutes on each side until golden brown on both sides.

  5. Remove the salmon cakes from the oil once golden brown on both sides onto a wire rack.

For the Lemon Garlic Aioli

  1. Add all Lemon Garlic Aioli ingredients to a small bowl and whisk together until smooth.  Serve with the fried Salmon Cakes.
