
Guacamole with Homemade Chips

This is the BEST guacamole recipe you will find! In this recipe, I also show you how to make homemade crispy flour tortilla chips in the oven. These are a healthier and more delicious alternative to corn tortilla chips.

For the Guacamole

Cut the avocados in half and remove the pits. Then remove the flesh from the avocados and put into a large bowl.

Squeeze the juice of 1 lime into the bowl with the avocado.

Cut one jalapeño pepper in half length-wise and remove the seeds and ribs, then finely dice. Add to the bowl.

Add about a 1/2 cup of diced white, yellow, or purple onion to the bowl.

Add about 1/2 cup of diced tomato to the bowl.

Measure out a 1/2 cup of loosely packed fresh cilantro leaves, then chop them up and add to the bowl.

Add 2 teaspoons of kosher salt to the bowl.

Using a potato masher or a fork, mash up all the ingredients in the bowl until it reaches the consistency you like for your guacamole.
For the Tortilla Chips

Preheat your oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.

Stack up your flour tortillas and cut in half, then cut each half into three triangles. Place the tortilla triangles onto a sheet pan and lightly spray them with avocado oil spray. Bake at 400 degrees for 6 minutes and up to 8 minutes or until light golden brown. Season with sea salt immediately after coming out of the oven.
