  2. Squeeze the juice of 1 lime into the bowl with the avocado.

  3. Cut one jalapeño pepper in half length-wise and remove the seeds and ribs, then finely dice. Add to the bowl.

  4. Add about a 1/2 cup of diced white, yellow, or purple onion to the bowl.

  5. Add about 1/2 cup of diced tomato to the bowl.

  6. Measure out a 1/2 cup of loosely packed fresh cilantro leaves, then chop them up and add to the bowl.

  7. Add 2 teaspoons of kosher salt to the bowl.

  8. Using a potato masher or a fork, mash up all the ingredients in the bowl until it reaches the consistency you like for your guacamole.

For the Tortilla Chips

  1. Preheat your oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.

  2. Stack up your flour tortillas and cut in half, then cut each half into three triangles. Place the tortilla triangles onto a sheet pan and lightly spray them with avocado oil spray.
