Buffalo Chicken Wraps

Description

Delicious shredded rotisserie chicken drenched in buffalo sauce and wrapped up in a tortilla with cheese and green onion.  A great option for lunch or a quick picnic or dinner!

  1. Cut the chicken into pieces and remove the skin from each piece.  Remove the meat and shred up with a fork.  

  2. Place the shredded chicken into a large bowl.  

  3. In a saucepan on low heat, add the hot sauce and butter and stir once the butter is melted.  Pour the buffalo sauce over the chicken in the bowl.  

  4. Finely chop the green onion and add to the bowl.  Stir the chicken, buffalo sauce and onion until combined. 

  5. Fire the tortillas over the open flame on a gas stove for a few seconds on each side.  

  6. To assemble each wrap, add one slice of Americana cheese to the tortilla, then spoon on some of the chicken mixture.  Wrap it up by folding the half of the tortilla closest to you over the filling, then fold in just one of the sides, then roll the tortilla wrap forward the rest of the way.  This will result in a chicken wrap with one side closed and one side open, making it easy to hold upright and eat.
