Tara Lynn's Kickin' Sweet & Smokey Seasoning

For the Cabbage Slaw

Instructions

  1. In a slow cooker, add an entire bottle of BBQ STU's PA Bacon BBQ sauce (or your favorite BBQ sauce), then add your chicken breasts.  Liberally sprinkle both sides of the chicken breasts with Tara Lynn's Kickin' Sweet & Smokey Seasoning. Cook the chicken on High for 3 hours in the slow cooker.

  2. One the chicken is cooked through, place the chicken on a cutting board and "pull" it using two forks so you are left with a big pile of shredded chicken.  Return the pulled chicken back to the slow cooker and mix it thoroughly in with all the sauce and juices.

  3. Put all the cabbage slaw ingredients into a large bowl and toss together.  Set aside.

  4. Drizzle some olive oil on the cut sides of each bun, then toast your buns in a hot cast iron pan until golden brown.

  5. Serve your BBQ Pulled Chicken Sandwich by placing a slice of sharp cheddar cheese down on the bottom bun, then piling some BBQ pulled chicken on top of the cheese. Drizzle some of the spicy BBQ sauce over the chicken if you wish, then add a nice big pile of cold cabbage slaw on top of the chicken, then place the top bun to crown the sandwich.  Enjoy!
