Bacon Cheeseburger Sliders
Description
Here's a quick and easy way to make a batch of sliders for Game Day, a party, or even lunches for the kids! Beef burgers with crumbled bacon, sweet white onion, cheddar cheese on cute little dinner rolls smothered and toasted in butter. They are quick, easy, cute and delicious!
Ingredients
For the sliders
For the fixins
Instructions
-
Chop the bacon into small pieces and fry up in a pan until crispy. Remove the bacon with a slotted spoon and drain on a plate lined with paper towels.
-
Slice the entire package of dinner rolls/Hawaiian rolls/slider buns in half lengthwise, and place the bottom buns in a 9x13 glass dish.
-
On a sheet pan, add the ground beef and all of the seasonings. Work the seasonings into the meat thoroughly with your hands, then press the meat out into a rectangular shaped burger patty that is larger than the size of the 12 bottom buns combined. This will ensure that after the burger has shrunk while cooking, it will be the right size to fit on top of the buns.
-
Bake the burger patty in a 350 degree oven for 20 minutes.
-
Chop up the bacon and fry in a pan until cooked through and crispy. Remove from pan with a slotted spoon and drain on a plate lined with paper towels.
-
Remove the burger patty from the sheet pan and place onto some paper towels and dab some of the juices off of the burger. Then place the big burger patty onto the bottom buns in the glass dish.
-
Top the burger patty with diced onion and the cooked bacon pieces. Lay the cheddar cheese slices over top the onion and bacon, then top it all off with the top buns.
-
Brush melted butter all over the top buns, then return to a 350 degree oven for another 20 minutes.
-
Remove from oven, cut around each slider with a knife and serve them all individually on a serving platter. Put out a tray of fixins and condiments next to the burgers in case anyone wants to jazz them up! Enjoy!
