Oven Baked Cajun Fries

Description

Fresh peeled Russet potatoes hand cut and tossed with chili-infused olive oil and Cajun seasoning, then baked until golden brown. You will not believe how crispy and flavorful these fries are and they are made in the oven!

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 425° F

  2. Peel the potatoes, then cut into fry shapes and soak in water for about 20 minutes to remove some of the starch for a crispier fry.

  3. Remove the cut potatoes from the water and dry thoroughly with paper towels.

  4. Place the potatoes onto a parchment paper lined sheet pan and toss with olive oil and Cajun seasoning, then arrange in an even layer and bake for about 25 minutes, then remove from oven and toss with a spatula to allow for even baking. Then bake for another 20-25 minutes until golden brown. 

  5. Remove from sheet pan and cool on a wire rack. Season with sea salt if desired. Enjoy!
