Classic Spinach Dip

Description

This is the spinach dip we've all had at holiday gatherings and special occasions... sour cream, mayo, vegetable soup seasoning packet, water chestnuts, spinach, and green onions. Mix it all together and serve it in a big, delicious pumpernickel bread bowl. It's classic. It's timeless. It's delicious!

  1. Combine all ingredients except for the bread in a bowl and mix thoroughly.  

  2. Chill the spinach dip for about 2 hours.

  3. Hollow out the round loaf of pumpernickel bread, cutting the bread insides into bite-sized pieces.

  4. Serve the chilled spinach dip inside the pumpernickel bread bowl surrounded by the extra pieces of bread for dipping.
